My oldest got it when he was about 4 yrs old ..Wife got it at the same time. We were all vaccinated, but they got it anyway. My son was ok, a bit of coughing but otherwise fine. My wife on the other hand was coughing so hard she bruised her ribs.

I will make an appointment—have to change the clinic because of a fuckwit—for over 75yo health check and will insist on a pertussis vaxx jab!
