Development of AI weapons

We all know Ukraine is using drones to help defeat the ruzzians. The ruzzians are using electronic warfare to cut the link between drone and operator. So Ukraine is working on AI guided drones. AI doesn’t care what it does, what it kills.

Ukraine is not the only drone maker—so we are going to see AI weapons being developed wholesale. Alas, poor humanity!

The world should have stamped on ruzzia back in 2014 or again in 2022. That would have ended things and AI weapons would not be being developed furiously.

And fuck Scott Ritter!

AI being incorporated into weapons was not caused by the Russian/Ukraine conflict. If that's what you're trying to suggest, it's bollocks.
Look at Israel, for example, using AI to choose targets in Gaza. It didn't develop its AI in response to anything going on with Russia and Ukraine.

As soon as AI came onto the scene, its military application has been investigated and developed around the world. And all this has been part of an ongoing evolution of automated weapons systems. For instance, US developed unmanned drones in the 1990's.

As for Scott Ritter, you can say anything you please, he stands or falls on his analyses and predictions.

With respect to the Russian/Ukraine conflict he's had it right since its inception, that is, Ukraine loses because it doesn't have the manpower or industrial capacity to go up against Russia. The only offset for this has been NATO's "indirect" involvement. But that is only delaying the inevitable.

The only way to stop the inevitable is for NATO directly intervenes with troops on the ground or it greenlights the use of its long range missiles deep into Russia. If that happens, Scott Ritter is down for saying that will kick off WW3 and the nuclear extinction of mankind. Even Biden amongst other Western politicians and experts have acknowledged as much.
