I had a dash cam in my car and things started happening like some guy crossing the road and hit by a taxi’s side mirror. Another time I was at stoplights and a car from the left lost control on slippery road and spun around, and hit a car on opposite side to where I was, while he was minding his own business waiting for lights to do his rh turn.
I said to hubby I don’t want a dash cam because I thought it was bad luck!
Since I had it removed …. No more mishaps.
it sort of reminds me of the secret, you know, putting it out there in the universe, that’s what dash cams do, give you lots of drama to record on the road! Well that’s what I reckon
I been thinking about reinstating the dash cam again just to test that theory out

The worst part is, I took the card out of the dash cam back then to watch it in the computer but it had taped itself over it so the footage was gone. I was spewing! Maybe it’s a crap dash cam.
Any recommendations? Or hints on how to save recordings?

A dash cam keeps recording so by their nature they overwrite earlier films so if something happened you want to look at hit the record button and that file is put in a protected region and won’t be overwritten.
